Who is Bidyanondo?

Bidyanondo is a registered social work organization in Bangladesh. They use social media to get foreign donations. They showed donation images one more time, and at least 15 times they used a person named “Majid Chacha”. Within 3 months, they posted 15 photos of Majid Chacha with multiple captions about his poverty.

The Bidyanondo Controversy.

Actually, the Bidyanondo Controversy started with “Jakah Fund Collection” this year. People are aware of this topic because “Jakah” is a term for Muslims. A special donation system in Islam. By the terms, Bidyanondo has no fair permission to collect Jakah funds, but they started the Jakah Fund Collection Campaign this Ramadan. That’s why Muslim people are against them. 90% of the population is Muslim in Bangladesh.

When people went against them, they found a lot of avidity against the Biddnondo Foundation. Example:

01. Selling Fake Sympathy: Recently, a fire explosion happened in Bango Bazar, Dhaka. Then Biddanondo posted on their social media with the caption “They are going to collect burnt clothes to sell and share the profits among the affected traders”. Unfortunately, they used some fake photos, which were downloaded from another e-commerce page without permission.

02. Majid Uncle (Chaha) Controversy: Days go by, months go by, and years go by, but throughout the ages, Majid Chacha remains everywhere. Majid is the fictional uncle in Vidyananda’s juicy story. At least 15 posts by Vidyananda spread Majeed’s uncle’s stories. They claimed Majid Uncle is a fictional character used to prevent prostitution, but when they post regular social media posts, they do prostitution with people’s photos.

03. 1 takay ahar (foods for 1 taka) Controversy: They used the exact same photos to prove multiple food arrangements. One cow photo was used for two months with a different caption. Why do they do this? If they cooked different cows, then why not share different cow photos?

Conclusion, There are also many other allegations against them, including the land controversy. That’s why 99% of the people of Bangladesh believe Bidyanonda is not doing humanity. To them, there is a call to do the right thing for humanity. thank you
